I live in Oxfordshire and work part-time as an Intensive Care Nurse, which is busy and challenging. My art is a complete contrast and my relaxation time. Although I have no formal training, I do go to an art class and find having feedback from others invaluable. I mainly work in oils and acrylics. I love painting animals, and much of my work is pet portraits commissions. If I can capture the animal’s character and show a cheeky, fun personality, and make someone smile, then I’ve achieved my goal.
We are having a Christmas Event with a difference this Festive season and are hosting it in the evening when Sage&Stone and its courtyard is at its most festive with Christmas Lights, festive music, our cosy restaurant and takeaway as well as our newly built crib.
We have been very careful to select and book in the most fabulous Christmas Market Stalls which include local apple farmers sampling their Apple Juice and Mulled Apple Cider. We will have Nomad na HEireann showing his blacksmithing skills in front of us as well as showing off some of his beautiful candlesticks and Forged Christmas trinkets.
We have been very discerning about our Stalls this year making sure to showcase the best of local crafts. Our local bands and choirs will be entertaining us througout the evening with festive music and when you have your Christmas spirit awakened you can relax in our restaurant for some delicious festive food and a nice drop of wine.
Why not embrace the spirit of Christmas this year at the Nollaig by Night event, a one stop shop for all your Christmas Shopping and a lovely event to enjoy with friends and family.
